Orquesta la Milonga was founded in 1987, inspired by the concert of maestro Osvaldo Pugliese and his orchestra during their visit in Finland. La Milonga presents a wide repertoire of traditional, rhythmical tango and milonga. In this year’s festival Orquesta La Milonga will end their performance with bandoneonists Mikko Helenius and Henrik Sandås - we will hear the fruit of a very rare collaboration on a European scale. La Milongas vocalist this year is Chilean Miguel Rojas, a man with a powerful voice.
